Phasor Tech develops systems to power, protect, and propel with intense beams of structured light. Intense structured light provides new and better approaches to extinguishing wildfires, powering aerospace vehicles, and providing national defense. 

We believe that earth is special, as it is home to the only life known anywhere in the universe. This is worth protecting at all costs! Phasor Tech is well positioned to protect this life with innovations in intense beams of structured light. 

Phasor Tech is currently focused on wildfires, which could save the US nearly $1 trillion annually while addressing up to 20% of global CO2 emissions.  

Our wildfire suppression technology is called Photopyrokinesis, which means the manipulation and control of fire with intense structured light.  

Structured light is carefully shaped and textured – like sculpting energy in space and time. Unlike a simple flashlight beam, it can twist, spin, curve and even bend through the air like a boomerang. This powerful form of geometric light can deliver energy with precision along programmable trajectories and manipulate.

We bend, twist, & structure light using nanoparticles. This gives light amazing abilities such as bending, like water from a fire hose, and inducing large-area atmospheric ionization, a kind of light-induced lightning and thunder, to control the flow of air. 

Extinguishing wildfires at the speed of light—remotely, without water, and even under extreme conditions like intense winds. This breakthrough has applications far beyond firefighting.

Early stage demonstrations of extinguishing tiny fires with light have been demonstrated. The next challenge is scaling this breakthrough to progressively larger fires.

We focus on high-risk & high-reward innovations in light. Wildfire suppression targets a nearly $1 trillion annual US wildfire problem. It could save more than the US defense budget annually while cutting 20% of global CO₂ emissions—offering debt-reducing economics and environmental benefits.
